Wayne's So Sad Announce First Vinyl Compilation, Out August 5 via Tokyo's Big Romantic Records
Taipei underground rock band Wayne's So Sad (傷心欲絕) will release their first career-spanning compilation on vinyl, The Best of Wayne's So Sad, on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. The release is a special project marking the 6th anniversary of Big Romantic Records, an independent record shop in Tokyo's Shimokitazawa neighborhood. It comes as a black vinyl LP priced at ¥4,600 (tax included).

About the band
Wayne's So Sad build their sound on punk and alternative foundations with folk and country elements woven in, making them one of the representative acts of Taipei's underground rock scene. Big Romantic Records, the Shimokitazawa shop behind this release, has long championed Taiwanese independent music in Japan, and chose to mark its sixth anniversary by partnering with the band on this debut vinyl compilation.
