Nigel Godrich and Dhani Harrison Form New Project Dragonflies, Debut Album Announced

British producer Nigel Godrich and musician Dhani Harrison have announced a new collaborative project called Dragonflies, releasing their debut single "Slower" alongside the announcement. The news was first reported by Stereogum on July 22, 2026.

Backgrounds and how the collaboration came together

Godrich is best known as the longtime producer for Radiohead and Thom Yorke's various projects, and has also helmed key albums for Beck and IDLES, making him one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary British studio production. Harrison is widely known as the son of George Harrison, but has his own track record as an independent musician. According to Stereogum, the two have been friends for some time, and Dragonflies grew out of that friendship into a formal collaboration.
