Meaningful Stone Teams Up with Jay Som for New Single "1+1=0"

South Korean indie musician Meaningful Stone (real name Kim Ji-min) released the new single "1+1=0" on July 9, 2026. The track was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Jay Som (real name Melina Duterte), and according to Stereogum, it carries bright, chiming guitar work and an indie pop sheen.

Background on the collaboration

Meaningful Stone traveled to Los Angeles earlier this year to begin the recording project with Jay Som, an artist who has built a body of work in indie pop and dream pop on her own label and has also been active as a producer for a number of independent artists in recent years.

"1+1=0" marks the first officially credited joint release between the two, and it's Meaningful Stone's first single co-credited with a creator from the U.S. indie scene. No tour dates tied to the release have been announced at this time.
