Fortnite Festival Adds Three New Setlists on August 20, Sabrina Carpenter's "Nonsense" Returns
Fortnite Festival, the rhythm-game mode inside Epic Games' Fortnite, announced a weekly content update via its official X account on August 18. Two new setlists arrive on Thursday, August 20: Canadian rock duo Angine de Poitrine and Israeli-American alt-rock band Temper City. At the same time, Sabrina Carpenter's "Nonsense" is returning to the game's Music Pass. The update was first reported by NME.

Carpenter's history with Fortnite Festival goes back to April 2025, when she served as the mode's in-game "festival icon." Both "Juno" and "Nonsense" became jam tracks at that time, and one of her signature outfits was added to the item shop.
Past festival icons and the current season
During Carpenter's run as festival icon, the roster of artists featured in Fortnite Festival also included The Weeknd, Gorillaz, and Billie Eilish. The mode's current run, Season 15, has Lil Tecca as its featured artist, taking over from jazz-pop singer Laufey.
Speaking to NME earlier this month, Lil Tecca said he hoped the placement would help him reach new listeners while also letting his existing fans see "a fellow Fortnite player" show up inside the game. Laufey, for her part, described Fortnite's world as "so fantastical," adding that players can be themselves there without being judged.
