DIIV Share New Single "Kid," New Album ZIRP! Due October 30

Brooklyn band DIIV have released "Kid," the second preview single from their forthcoming album ZIRP!, due out Friday, October 30, 2026 via Fantasy Recordings. The single arrives with a music video credited to director Jaxon Whittington — though the actual camera work was done by frontman Zachary Cole Smith's son, Roy, and a friend. "Kid" is the second single revealed from ZIRP!. While Whittington is credited as director, the footage itself was shot by Roy, Smith's son, together with a friend — effectively handing the camera to kids to make the video.
