9m88 Added to Iceland Airwaves 2026 Final Lineup
Taiwanese singer 9m88 has been added to the final lineup announcement for Iceland Airwaves 2026, part of a 25-act wave led by NME cover star Cobrah. This marks the festival's 27th edition, returning to Reykjavík on November 5 and 7, with day-by-day performance schedules also released.
Earlier lineup waves included Adult DVD, Dove Ellis, and PISS in the first announcement, followed by The Itch, Any Young Mechanic, and Heartworms in the second.

Iceland Airwaves began in 1999 as a one-off event held inside an aircraft hangar, later growing into a festival centered on discovering emerging artists. Beyond performances, its programming has included industry networking events, panels, and forums.
According to NME, the 2025 edition featured performers including Fat Dog, Jasmine.4.t, Kenya Grace, Antony Szmierek, Deadletter, The Orchestra (For Now), Babymorocco, and Ratbag.
