Philosophy no Dance's Final Single "Dansu for Philosophy" Gets 7" Vinyl Pressing
Japanese idol group フィロソフィーのダンス (Philosophy no Dance) played their farewell show, "The Last Dance ～DFP Forever！～," at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on June 13, 2026, officially ending the group's activities. Their final new song, 〈ダンス・フォー・フィロソフィー〉 ("Dansu for Philosophy"), is now getting a physical release as a 7" vinyl single via the Great Tracks label, with a Japan release date of September 23, 2026. Release details
The track originally appeared on the group's compilation album Dance to the Music～Journey with Philosophy no Dance～, released April 1, 2026. The production credits reunite the team from the band's indie days: producer Keitaro Kamo, lyricist Yamamoto Sho, and composer/arranger Genji Miyano.
