Who Is PASOCOM MUSIC CLUB
PASOCOM MUSIC CLUB is the duo of Midori Shibata and Masato Nishiyama, who build their sound around analog synthesizers and sound-module tones. They got their start on SoundCloud before releasing through Maltine Records and going on to play major stages including Fuji Rock, with a live show that balances pop-leaning electronic sounds with underground club textures.
The pair have also built a long track record producing and remixing for other artists, with credits including the Pokémon anime ending theme "Pokemon Shiritori," exhibition music for a Masamune Shirow manga showcase, and the score for the Japanese drama Video Girl AI 2018. They have released four albums to date, collaborating with figures from Japan's online music scene as well as artists including Satoko Shibata, tofubeats, chelmico, MFS, and PAS TASTA.
This Taipei date is part of a new tour launched after the release of their single "wonders," and marks the duo's first performance in Taiwan.
