Lambrini Girls Announce Second Album 'No Refunds,' Out January 15
Brighton punk duo Lambrini Girls announced their second album, No Refunds, on September 15. It arrives January 15 via City Slang, following their 2025 debut Who Let The Dogs Out. Alongside the announcement, Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira-Boşgelmez released a new single, "Bang Bang Bang," with a video directed by Harv Frost. Speaking to NME, the pair described the new record as darker and more urgent than its predecessor because the world has "got even worse."
What the album is about
No Refunds continues the duo's mix of social commentary and barbed humor, taking aim at AI, genocide, fascism and the "manosphere." The album's first preview track, "Cult Of Celebrity," released earlier this year, targets the corruption of the powerful and celebrated. Of "Bang Bang Bang," Lunny said the song is about "a man who is worshipped like Christ but also seen as the devil." The album is now available for pre-order.

An injury, a delayed run, and a 2027 tour
The band's year was disrupted after Lunny suffered a broken neck and an "acute brain injury" during an Australian tour, forcing them to pull out of Coachella and postpone their North American tour. Those rescheduled dates are back on, with some tickets still available.
Starting next year, Lambrini Girls will head out on an expanded headline tour across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Pre-sale registration is open now.

Debut album and recent moves
Lambrini Girls' debut, Who Let The Dogs Out, received a five-star review from NME, which wrote that the duo proved "punk is alive and kicking." In a December 2024 NME interview, the pair discussed humor's role in their music, with Lunny saying "Humour is such a good way to disarm people," while Macieira compared it to hiding medicine in ham to feed a dog — making politics easier to swallow. The band recently partnered with climate advocacy group Music Declares Emergency on a "Hot Girls F*ck The System" merch line, including T-shirts, hoodies, sweatpants and hats, with all profits going to climate action.
