Japan's Himegoto to Play First Taipei Show at MOONDOG, Jan 9 2027
Japanese duo Himegoto (秘めごと) will play their first-ever Taipei solo concert on Saturday, January 9, 2027 at MOONDOG, a live house in Taipei's Songshan District. Doors open at 17:30, the show starts at 19:00, and the set runs approximately 90 minutes. The group — vocalist Shion and composer Matatabi — made their major-label debut in July 2026 with the mini-album Kuroi Mori (くろいもり) on MoooD Records. The Taipei date is organized by Baodao Production Committee (宝島制作委員会), with promotion handled by Sendan Annai.

VIP tickets can be upgraded on-site for an extra NT$1, adding priority entry, priority merchandise purchase access, a VIP commemorative pass, and one A3 autographed poster. Posters are handed out by staff after the show only — no early pickup, proxy collection, or mail delivery. GA accessible tickets require disability verification through KKTIX before purchase.
All tickets are standing-room with numbered sequence, and entry order follows ticket type and number — tickets bought in the same order may not be sequential. Photography, audio/video recording, and phone calls are prohibited inside the venue for the entire show, and phones and smartwatches must be powered off and kept away. About Kuroi Mori and the setlist picks
Himegoto's major-label debut mini-album Kuroi Mori contains seven tracks, with a story written by Matatabi and illustrations by artist Shishamomodoki. The physical CD release comes in picture-book form, tying story, art, and music together as a single world. The record leans into darker tones the duo has rarely explored before.
For newcomers to the group, the band picked three representative songs: the upbeat "Retto Kan" (劣等感), which features a megaphone during the performance; the summer-toned ballad "Kafka" (カフカ), whose vocals wrap around a summer landscape; and the new track "Shousetsuka" (小説家) from Kuroi Mori, which depicts rapidly shifting emotions. This year, Himegoto sold out multiple solo shows across Japan as well as their first solo concert in South Korea.
