FRIENDS MEETING 2026: Korean Label Drunkboyz Records Takes Over a Taipei Rowhouse for a Punk-and-Electronic Afterparty

Korean label Drunkboyz Records is bringing its "FRIENDS MEETING 2026 後夜祭" (afterparty) to Taipei on Sunday, October 4, 2026, taking over a soon-to-be-demolished old rowhouse called Wenchang Hao WHOA in Da'an District (No. 130, Wenchang St., near Xinyi Anhe MRT station). The building's two floors run simultaneous programs — bass-heavy electronic downstairs, punk rock upstairs — with six acts from Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

The lineup

1F — Basement Noise Zone (electronic)

2F — Live & Liquid Stage (punk)

The ground floor is set up to blur the line between stage and street, with the bass mixing into the traffic noise outside on Wenchang St. The second floor combines a live punk stage with a bar space built for a proper mosh pit.

Practical details

Organizer background

According to the organizer, the Drunkboyz Records team traces back to the same core group behind a 2013 event at Busan's port area in Korea, and has long operated at the intersection of subculture, alcohol, punk rock and electronic music. This event takes place in an old rowhouse slated for demolition, making it a limited-run venue.
