kumagusu Announces Tokyo Solo Show 'Kokan no Banshaku' for Nov. 29

Japanese alternative band kumagusu will play a solo show titled Kokan no Banshaku (交感の晩酌, roughly "a sympathetic evening drink") at Moonromantic (月見ル君想フ) in Aoyama, Tokyo on Sunday, November 29, 2026. Doors open at 17:00 with the show starting at 18:00, and kumagusu is the only act on the bill. It's the band's first standalone headline show since an album release event last year; the announcement came via the venue's official Instagram account, @moonromantic_jp.

Show details

The ¥2,000 under-25 price is half the advance price, a discount set by the venue and band for younger audiences; ID must be shown at entry to qualify.

Flyer hand-carved by the vocalist

The flyer for this show was made as a woodblock print by vocalist Inoue Y. In the announcement, the band said they hope the show can capture a state of "swaying and impurity as one," much like the texture of a woodblock print, describing the night as a performance that will leave you "intoxicated whether or not you actually drink."

Moonromantic is a live venue in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo, that has long hosted alternative, independent, and cross-regional music programming. kumagusu's last solo show was an album release event last year; since then the band has mainly performed in other formats.
