Fontaines D.C. Add Second Heaton Park Date for 2027 Outdoor Tour, Tickets September 10

Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. have added a second Manchester date to their 2027 outdoor and stadium tour, booking Heaton Park for Sunday, July 4, 2027 — the night after their previously announced July 3 show at the same venue. The band unveiled their 2027 UK outdoor run just last week, driven largely by multiple sellouts within minutes on their 2026 arena tour across Spain, Italy, France and the UK. All 2027 dates go on general sale Thursday, September 10 at 10am UK time, with an artist presale already underway.
Tickets and the 2027 outdoor run
The 2027 summer route opens with two nights at Slane Castle in Ireland, followed by Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, St James' Park in Newcastle, two nights at Heaton Park in Manchester, Glasgow Green, and London Stadium. Support on the outdoor dates comes from Little Simz and Viagra Boys; the two Slane Castle shows add Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey and Madra Salach to the bill.
Headlining Slane Castle makes Fontaines D.C. only the third Irish act to top the bill there, following Thin Lizzy in 1981 and U2 in 2001. The venue's headliner history also includes The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Guns N' Roses, Oasis, Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Eminem and Harry Styles.
- Added date: Sunday, July 4, 2027 — Heaton Park, Manchester

New album Dopamine Chamber and the Reading set
Fontaines D.C.'s new album Dopamine Chamber arrives October 16 via XL Recordings, produced by James Ford, following up 2024's UK platinum-certified Romance. Three tracks are out already: lead single 'Marianne', 'Six Shot Morning' and 'Happy, For You'.
'Happy, For You' made its live debut at Leeds Festival — the night after their Reading headline set was cut short due to technical and scheduling issues, with that track and several others dropped from the setlist. NME gave the Reading performance four and a half stars, noting that frontman Grian Chatten closed with 'Sorry for the short set' before launching into 'Starburster'.
