Olivia Rodrigo's All-Female Festival Raises $10 Million in Debut Run
Olivia Rodrigo headlined and curated the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California — a one-day event held in near-35°C heat, with the park's landmark orange balloon repainted with the festival's logo. Every act on the bill was female, and 100% of net proceeds went to ten nonprofits described as advancing women's and girls' rights. During her closing set, Rodrigo announced the festival had raised $10 million, with philanthropist Melinda French Gates set to match that amount.
A cross-generational, all-female lineup
According to NME's on-site coverage, the bill spanned punk, rock and contemporary pop alongside newer names:

- Garbage
- The Breeders
- Doechii (performing in full pink body paint)
- Chappell Roan
- Mitski
- Rachel Chinouriri (who played unreleased new material)
- Eli
- Die Spitz (who jumped into the pit to dance with fans)
- Olivia Rodrigo
Special guests included Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette and Stevie Nicks. At a press briefing the day before, Rodrigo said McLachlan was the first artist she contacted when putting the festival together. Karen O had been billed to appear but withdrew due to a family emergency, with Morissette stepping in.
