caroline and Cameron's My New Band Believe Confirm Osaka and Tokyo Shows for Rough Trade's 50th

London's eight-piece caroline and My New Band Believe, led by black midi member Cameron, will play a joint tour of Japan — Osaka's Yogibo META VALLEY on September 30, 2026 (Wednesday) and Tokyo's O-EAST on October 1 (Thursday). Both shows are standing-only. The tour is titled "ROUGH TRADE 50TH ANNIVERSARY", marking the 50th anniversary of UK label Rough Trade, with label founders Geoff Travis and Jeannette Lee appearing as special guest DJs. The Japan dates were announced by BEATINK.

About the Two Acts

caroline is a London eight-piece whose latest album caroline 2 was ranked No. 1 on Japanese music outlet ele-king's "Best Albums of 2025" list, and placed highly on several other domestic and international year-end lists.

My New Band Believe is led by black midi member Cameron and released their debut album one month before this show was announced. This marks a joint Japan visit for both acts; the performance order for each date has not yet been announced.

Rough Trade's 50th Anniversary

The shows are part of Rough Trade's 50th anniversary programming. Label founders Geoff Travis and Jeannette Lee will travel to Japan together and DJ at both the Osaka and Tokyo shows. The key visual for the event was designed by Shoh Anafusa.
