Beabadoobee Debuts New Album's Title Track 'Pylon' Live at Red Rocks
Beabadoobee played Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on Friday, August 7, and used the encore to debut the title track from her forthcoming fourth album, Pylon, performed solo on acoustic guitar. She told the crowd it was the "first time I'm ever playing it." The show was the final date of a short US run before she heads into a tour in October. Four songs from the new album made it into that night's set.

The set included two songs already released from Pylon — "Sun Has Set" and "Switchblade" — plus "Memories," due out August 20, which has now been played at Red Rocks four separate times. Full setlist:

The album and its guests
Pylon is Beabadoobee's fourth studio album, arriving September 18 via Dirty Hit/Interscope, following 2024's This Is How Tomorrow Moves (which NME gave four stars). The guest list is notable:
- "Nothing To Prove" features Hayley Williams
- "Powerlines" features Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates
- Also on the record: Pinegrove's Evan Stephens Hall, Deftones' Chino Moreno, and Title Fight's Shane Morgan
- "Write Me A Letter" was produced by The 1975's Matty Healy and George Daniel
Earlier this year, Beabadoobee also released a collaboration with The Marías, "All I Did Was Dream Of You," with a video drawing on Yorgos Lanthimos's Bugonia, and covered Elliott Smith's "Say Yes" for the War Child compilation Help(2).
What's next: the Powerlines tour
Beabadoobee's large-venue world tour, called "Powerlines," kicks off October 1 in Uncasville, Connecticut, and reaches the UK in November with dates in Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and London. Full dates and remaining ticket information are being announced by promoters through official channels.
