Beabadoobee Shares "Memories," New Album Pylon Due September 18

Beabadoobee has released a new song, "Memories," the latest preview of her fourth studio album Pylon, due September 18 via Dirty Hit/Interscope. It's her first full-length since 2024's This Is How Tomorrow Moves. According to NME, she's described "Memories" as "one of the happiest songs" on the record, though the lyrics still circle a familiar ache: nostalgia that should feel good but ends up making you sad. The track is built around bright, prominent acoustic guitar.
Live debut at Red Rocks
"Memories" got its first live outing earlier this month at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. The same show marked the live debut of the album's title track, "Pylon," alongside earlier singles "Sun Has Set" and "Switchblade."
Guests and production
Pylon's guest list spans emo, hardcore and alt-rock: Hayley Williams appears on "Nothing To Prove," and Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates features on "Powerlines." Also on the record are Pinegrove's Evan Stephens Hall, Deftones' Chino Moreno, and Title Fight's Shane Morgan.
The 1975's Matty Healy and George Daniel produced "Write Me A Letter." Her previous album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves, received a four-star review from NME.
The Powerlines tour
Named after the album track featuring Brendan Yates, the "Powerlines" tour kicks off October 1 in Uncasville, Connecticut, before heading to the UK in November, with stops in Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and London. Full dates and remaining ticket information are being announced by promoters and ticketing platforms.
