Neil Young 자선 트리뷰트 앨범 《Heart of Gold》 2·3집, 11월 6일 동시 발매

Cinema Music Group, Killphonic Records, City Slang은 2026년 7월 22일, Neil Young 자선 트리뷰트 앨범 《Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young》 2집 《Vol. 2 – Out of the Blue》와 3집 《Vol. 3 – Into the Black》을 2026년 11월 6일(금) 동시 발매한다고 발표했다. 두 앨범은 2025년 발매된 1집에 이어지는 후속작으로, 인디, 컨트리, 록 등 다양한 장르의 아티스트들이 참여했다. 전체 수익금은 Neil Young과 Pegi Young이 공동 설립한 비영리 단체 The Bridge School에 기부된다. 이 단체는 중증 언어·신체 장애인을 지원하는 곳이다.

선공개 싱글과 아티스트들의 이야기

King Princess가 먼저 3집 선공개 싱글 'Helpless'를 발표했다. Far Out Magazine에 따르면 그녀는 이 곡이 어머니와 자신이 함께 가장 좋아하는 Neil Young 곡이라고 밝혔으며, 녹음은 프로듀서 Brad Oberhofer와 단 두 사람이 한 번의 테이크로 완성했다고 전했다.

2집의 선공개 싱글은 Draco Rosa가 부른 'After the Gold Rush'로, 그는 이 곡이 자신의 음악적 여정에서 중요한 의미를 지닌다고 말했다. The Bridge School의 대표 Gabriela Berlanga는 두 앨범의 판매 수익 전액이 장애인들의 소통, 교육 및 관련 자원 접근을 보장하는 데 사용될 것이라고 밝혔다.
