unbound.bookstore, a bookstore in Taipei, will hold a free memorial event on August 5, 2026 (Wednesday), from 7:00 to 9:30 PM, dedicated to Hong Kong singer-songwriter and guitarist Ellen Joyce Loo (盧凱彤).

About Ellen Joyce Loo

Ellen Joyce Loo (1986–2018) was a Hong Kong singer-songwriter, guitarist, and musician who debuted in 2002 as one half of the duo at17 before going solo. She was active in both Hong Kong and Taiwan's independent music scenes and won Best Arranger at the Golden Melody Awards. She was also a vocal advocate for marriage equality before her death in 2018.
