The Strokes Debut 'Dine N'Dash' Live as Red Rocks Run Closes Out 'Reality Awaits' Tour

The Strokes wrapped the second of two nights at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Thursday, July 23, 2026, debuting new single "Dine N'Dash" live for the first time. According to NME, the show closed out a two-night stand (July 22-23) at Red Rocks and was the band's last performance before the official release of their new album Reality Awaits. Support came from Hamilton Leithauser (formerly of The Walkmen) and LA-based Turkish psych-rock band ÖLÜM.

The band opened with a four-song run before moving into new album highlight "Going Shopping," followed immediately by the live debut of "Dine N'Dash." The live rendition kept the studio version's breezy feel, with the stage bathed in blue and purple light.

Guitarist Nick Valensi is currently sitting out the tour; frontman Julian Casablancas has said publicly that he'll "be back soon." The October UK and European leg will feature support from Fat White Family and Alex Cameron, with the UK dates marking the band's first full domestic tour in 20 years. NME gave Reality Awaits four stars, calling it a "strange, wonderful patchwork of a record."
