Standing On The Corner Announce New Album "SOTC 'II'" for Sept 11 Release on XL Recordings
New York experimental outfit Standing On The Corner have announced their new album, Standing On The Corner "II", out Friday, September 11, 2026 via XL Recordings. The album runs 15 tracks. Alongside the announcement, the group dropped a new single, "Mr. Postman, wait!", plus a B-side, "Splitting Moonlight" — both are streaming now, and the album is open for pre-order.
Production and guest lineup
The album was recorded by the group's core members, led by bandleader Gio Escobar, alongside longtime collaborators Jack "Moonjohn" Nolan, Buz "Manman" Donald, and Clérida "Ca$h Clay" Eltime.
Guest appearances span Solange Knowles, Danny Brown, Styles P, Lady Bug Mecca, King Bubba Dupree, and Claudette, among others. XL Recordings' own announcement refers to these collaborators as "special guest hustlers."
