Sonic Shaman and Lucerne's Out in the Loop Team Up for 24-Hour Hybrid Festival

Taipei's Sonic Shaman Festival and Out in the Loop Festival in Lucerne, Switzerland, have announced their first collaboration: a synchronized 24-hour "Hybrid Pop Cultures Festival" running Saturday, November 14 through Sunday, November 15, 2026, in both cities at once. The Lucerne venue is confirmed as Neubad; the Taipei venue and full lineup have not yet been announced. The announcement was made via the organizer's Instagram account, @sonicshaman.festival.
What's been announced
- Dates: Saturday, November 14 to Sunday, November 15, 2026, running 24 hours continuously
- Cities: Taipei and Lucerne, Switzerland
- Venue: Neubad (Lucerne); Taipei venue not yet announced
- Tickets and pricing: not yet announced
- Programming: live performances, DJ sets, performance art, talks, and interactive workshops
Identical stages, real-time link between two cities
According to the organizers, programming will take two forms: some segments will originate in one city and be streamed live to the other, while others will happen simultaneously and collaboratively across both locations. Examples cited include a musician in Lucerne performing alongside a dancer in Taipei, paired performers or drummers connecting across the feed, and a DJ back-to-back set spanning both time zones.
Taipei and Lucerne sit six hours apart, and the organizers say that time difference shaped the programming — the 24-hour span is designed to let each city's daytime and nighttime hours overlap and connect with the other.
What we don't know yet
The Taipei venue, full artist lineup, ticket prices, and on-sale details have not been released. Organizers say more programming and ticketing information will follow.
