Rosalía Joins Fontaines D.C. as Band's First-Ever Guest Vocalist

Rosalía will appear on Fontaines D.C.'s upcoming fifth studio album Dopamine Chamber, marking the first time the Irish band has featured a guest vocalist on a record. She sings on track eight, "Where Is Gone?" The album runs eleven tracks total, produced by James Ford, and follows 2024's Romance.

Album background

Dopamine Chamber was recorded across three locations: London, the English countryside, and Palermo, Sicily. James Ford, who also produced Romance, returns as producer for this follow-up.

Why it's notable

None of Fontaines D.C.'s previous four albums included a guest vocalist, which makes Rosalía's appearance the most visible personnel change on Dopamine Chamber.

The Chatten connection

Frontman Grian Chatten had already flagged his admiration for Rosalía in a 2024 interview with British GQ, praising her complete command of her own aesthetic vocabulary and how she uses it to tell stories. The collaboration materialized two years after that comment.
