The Pains of Being Pure at Heart to Play Seoul, First Korea Show in 14 Years

New York indie pop band The Pains of Being Pure at Heart will play a headline show in Seoul on November 4, 2026 (Wednesday) at KT&G Sangsangmadang Live Hall. It's the band's first Korean performance in 14 years. Korean band 불싸조 (Bulssazo) will open. Doors are at 19:10, show starts at 19:30, and tickets are priced at 85,000 KRW. The show is organized by 4shared.

A 14-Year Gap

The Pains of Being Pure at Heart last performed in Korea in 2012, making this show a 14-year return. The band's 2009 self-titled album, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, is widely regarded as one of the defining twee pop/indie pop records of the 2000s.
