DENGARYU Announces Taipei Solo Show With Taipei-Exclusive After Party Featuring MAHBIE
Japanese rapper DENGARYU (田我流), from Yamanashi Prefecture, will hold a solo live show at The Wall Live House in Taipei on Saturday, August 15, 2026, doors at 19:30 and start at 20:00. Promoters Purrfect Radio and Capital Production have announced that after the main set, the venue's corridor will host an after party exclusive to the Taipei date, with DENGARYU himself and fellow artist MAHBIE taking turns DJing.

Beyond the after party, organizers say limited-edition merchandise will be sold outside the venue on show night, with a signing and photo session also planned. The promoters note that DENGARYU rarely DJs a set even at his own solo shows in Japan, making the Taipei after party a notable addition.
From stillichimiya to a 47-prefecture tour
DENGARYU is a rapper, music producer and beatmaker from Yamanashi Prefecture. In 2004 he formed the rap group stillichimiya with childhood friends and remains a core member, while also leading the BACK CITY BLUES project. His work centers on localism and independent spirit, with production blending hip hop, lo-fi, soul and jazz.
He has released three solo albums to date. His breakout work, B級映画のように2, established a narrative style built around his own daily life, while 2019's Ride On Time shifted toward a more restrained sound. His single Yureru (ゆれる), made with producer EVISBEATS, blends rap with a lo-fi atmosphere and reached listeners well beyond the hip hop scene.
DENGARYU has collaborated with artists including SCHA DARA PARR, Chinza Dopeness, Takuya Kuroda, NORIKIYO, Hannya, C.O.S.A., JJJ, KM and MonyHorse. His live history includes a sold-out solo show at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall and a tour spanning all 47 prefectures of Japan. Outside music, he starred in the 2011 film Saudade (サウダーヂ), which was recognized at Japan's Mainichi Film Awards.
