Man Arrested for Urinating on Family at Morgan Wallen's Baltimore Show

A man has been arrested in connection with an incident at Morgan Wallen's July 18, 2026 concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, where a male concertgoer allegedly urinated on a family of four seated in front of him. Maryland Transportation Authority Police confirmed the arrest in a press release issued Wednesday, August 12, per NME. The man arrested, 33-year-old Jayson Reed, faces four counts of second-degree assault, public urination, and other related charges.

What happened

According to TMZ, concertgoer Troy Grevelding attended the show with his wife, brother and 8-year-old niece. He said the man seated behind them appeared intoxicated and had been disruptive to other attendees throughout the night before urinating, splashing Grevelding and his family. Grevelding said that when he turned around, the man had exposed himself. A brief confrontation followed before the family left their seats and alerted security.

Video of the incident circulated on social media showing an officer initially telling Grevelding that an arrest couldn't be made on the spot since police hadn't witnessed the act themselves. Maryland Transportation Authority Police say they later conducted a thorough investigation and located witnesses who were not part of the original on-scene inquiry. After consulting with the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office, police obtained a warrant, and Reed was arrested by law enforcement in Wilson County, North Carolina.

Detention and extradition

A summer of concert crowd chaos

NME notes this is one of several concert-related incidents involving bodily waste this summer. Last month, a mosh pit at a metal show in New Zealand was reportedly contaminated with feces. Before that, Noah Kahan publicly asked fans to "please dear god just go to the bathroom" after learning some had defecated in their seats rather than miss a song.

Olivia Rodrigo also recently mentioned that she has "smelled" devoted fans wearing diapers so they wouldn't have to leave the front row.
