My Chemical Romance Debut 'Ambulance' Live, Announce Modest Mouse and More as US Tour Guests

My Chemical Romance played 'Ambulance' live for the first time ever at Glasgow's Bellahouston Park on Friday, July 4, 2026. The song comes from the band's 2013 EP Conventional Weapons, where it appeared as the A-side of the second single — a deep-cut rarity that had never made it onto a setlist before. During the show, frontman Gerard Way joked with the crowd from the B-stage: "I'm not sure which EP it's from, but Frank knows — this one's called 'Ambulance.'" The crowd's reaction was one of shock.
Glasgow: A Full Performance of The Black Parade
The Glasgow date was a stop on the band's UK "Black Parade" tour, with the 25-song set built around a complete performance of The Black Parade album, followed by a return to the B-stage for a career-spanning encore segment — where 'Ambulance' made its live debut.
Earlier in the run, the band opened their June 30 show at Anfield with 'Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back,' a track that hadn't been played live in nearly four years. NME gave the Anfield show a five-star review, calling Way's voice "still the biggest highlight" and noting the performance offered "far more than just pop-punk nostalgia."
The UK leg wraps with a three-night stand at London's Wembley Stadium, scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11.
US Tour Guests and a Danger Days Deluxe Edition
After finishing their UK and European dates, the band heads into a run of large US venues with a confirmed support lineup spanning multiple generations and genres: Franz Ferdinand, Pierce The Veil, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Jimmy Eat World, and The Mars Volta.
Alongside the tour news, a deluxe edition of Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys is set for release on Friday, July 10. The band has already shared a preview from it: a cover of Pulp's 'Common People.'
