Lil Tecca Takes Over Fortnite Festival Season 15, Launching July 30

Rapper Lil Tecca will headline Fortnite Festival Season 15, launching Wednesday, July 30, 2026, taking over from the previous season's headliner, jazz-pop artist Laufey. According to NME, he's the first rapper to front a Festival season since Snoop Dogg in early 2024.
What's in Season 15
The season adds four Lil Tecca Jam Tracks — "Ransom," "Dark Thoughts," "Love Me," and "500lbs" — playable in the rhythm-game mode.
Per Epic Games' official blog, the "Neon Dreams Music Pass" unlocks several exclusive cosmetics, including a Tour Ready Lil Tecca Outfit that reacts to the music in real time, a Mic Mace back bling, and a Dopamine Tour-themed guitar named after his tour. The item shop separately sells a Lil Tecca Outfit (with a Ransom Toon alternate style), a mic stand inspired by the cover art of his album We Love You Tecca, Dopamine Blades pickaxes, and a Dark Thoughts Emote that flashes in time with the beat.
Lil Tecca wrote on Instagram: "I'm on everyday, come 1v1 me." He got his start freestyling with friends on Xbox Live, and released his fifth album, Dopamine, in 2025, drawing inspiration from the Fever Flash FM radio station in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Who's headlined Fortnite Festival before
Fortnite Festival launched in late 2023 as a rhythm-game mode, with The Weeknd as its first-ever headliner. Subsequent seasons have featured artists including Gorillaz, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter, each taking over the mode for a limited-time season.
What we don't know yet
The source doesn't specify a launch time, pricing for the Music Pass or item shop cosmetics, or how long Season 15 will run before the next takeover.
