jizue Marks 20th Anniversary With Taipei Show at THE WALL, Sept. 17, 2026
Kyoto-based jazz fusion group jizue will play a 20th-anniversary show in Taipei on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at THE WALL LIVE HOUSE. The date is part of the Taiwan leg of the band's release tour for its new album orbis, promoted locally by 浪漫的工作室 (Romantic Office).

Who is jizue
jizue's core lineup is Inoue Norimasa (guitar), Yamada Go (bass), and Kataki Nozomi (piano), building jazz fusion and swing foundations under melodic, lyrical themes while layering in arrangement power inspired by rock and hardcore. Alongside that high-intensity live approach, the band has also long maintained a mellower, groove-driven side — heard in their collaboration with shing02 on the track "Wakuzei" (惑青). In 2022, jizue performed a special arrangement show with a Kyoto string ensemble, expanding into richer soundscapes. Since 2023, the band's music has frequently appeared in NHK and TBS drama soundtracks, with additional collaborators including YeYe, NABOWA, and Shota Aratani. Marking its 20th anniversary, jizue has released the new album orbis and launched an anniversary tour, with Taipei as one stop.
