Gemarimba Announces First-Ever Japan Tour: Tokyo, Matsumoto, Kyoto

Indonesian band Gemarimba has announced its first overseas tour, JAPAN TOUR 2026, via its official Instagram. The run consists of three dates: Tokyo on September 24, 2026 (Thursday) at Moon Romantic, Matsumoto on September 26 (Saturday) at Ringo Music Fest 2026, and Kyoto on October 10 (Saturday) at Kyoto Music Expo 2026. The tour is organized by Japanese label Big Romantic Records.
Tour dates so far
- September 24, 2026 (Thu) — Tokyo, Moon Romantic
- September 26, 2026 (Sat) — Matsumoto, Ringo Music Fest 2026
- October 10, 2026 (Sat) — Kyoto, Kyoto Music Expo 2026
- Ticket prices and on-sale links: not yet announced
Only the Tokyo stop is a standalone live house show; the Matsumoto and Kyoto dates are both festival appearances. That mix means Gemarimba's first trip to Japan will put them in front of both an existing fanbase and new festival-going audiences in the same run.
Who's behind it
The tour is presented by Big Romantic Records, with legal support from PSG Counsellors at Law and Jakarta-based live production team Soundhead.jkt. Tour key art was designed by Varivanoo and Binar Sunarja.
Gemarimba posted the announcement in both Japanese and English, describing it as their "first international tour" and teasing meetups with fans in Tokyo, Matsumoto and Kyoto. Ticket on-sale times, pricing tiers, and whether additional dates will be added have not yet been announced by organizers.
