David Byrne is getting a limited-run pop-up store in Tokyo to mark his upcoming visit to Japan. The store opens at Daikanyama Tsutaya Books, Building 1, 1st floor, running from Monday, August 10 to Sunday, August 16, 2026.
What's for sale
The pop-up will carry four main items: a Japan-exclusive 7-inch vinyl, a Japan-visit commemorative Deluxe CD edition, a Japan-only T-shirt design, and imported merchandise that has never previously been released in the Japanese market.

Summer Sonic 2026 and the Japan visit
Organizer beatinkinc announced the pop-up on Instagram, noting that Byrne has been confirmed as a special guest at Summer Sonic 2026 this year, and that a separate solo show sold out on the day tickets went on sale.
