Seoul's Cotton Club Announces Nightly Jazz Lineup for Sept. 28–Oct. 4
Seoul jazz venue Cotton Club Seoul has announced its nightly performance schedule for the week of September 28 (Monday) through October 4 (Sunday), 2026. Eleven different lineups will take the stage across the seven nights, ranging from vocal-led combos and piano trios to saxophone quartets and a blues/soul band.
What was announced
Monday through Thursday, the club runs a single set on Stage 1. On Friday (10/2), Saturday (10/3) and Sunday (10/4), a second stage opens, meaning two different acts perform each of those nights. The week's programming is built almost entirely around Seoul-based musicians, with one exception: an all-foreign quartet on Saturday.
Weekday lineup (Stage 1)
- Mon 9/28 — Cotton Club Band & 리마 (vocal), the house band backing a jazz vocalist
- Tue 9/29 — 황인선 Quartet, saxophone-led, playing standards and originals
- Wed 9/30 — 이미영 Trio, piano trio format
- Thu 10/1 — 김희나 Quartet, vocal-led, spanning jazz, chanson and originals
Weekend lineup (Stage 1 + Stage 2)
- Fri 10/2 — Stage 1: Bennys Quartet (piano/tenor sax); Stage 2: 이정식 Quartet & 김준 (sax quartet plus vocalist)
- Sat 10/3 — Stage 1: 박현선 퀸텟 (vocal-led quintet with guitar); Stage 2: Drum Bop Quartet, led by trumpeter Phil Grenadier with Paul Kirby (piano), Sean Pentland (bass) and Manuel Weyand (drums)
- Sun 10/4 — Stage 1: N.ode, a piano/bass duo; Stage 2: 박재홍 밴드, a five-piece blues and soul band
