Japan's cephalo and iVy Share a Bill in Taipei, October 2, 2026
Two acts from Japan's alternative music scene, cephalo and iVy, will play a joint show titled "cephalo x iVy Live in Taipei" at The Wall Live House in Taipei on Friday, October 2, 2026. The event is presented by ULC (ULC Presents), with promotional support from Rotten Blues and Noisy Flower. Both bands are fronted by the same vocalist, fuki, despite pursuing very different sounds — and organizers say this Taipei date is the only time the two acts will share a stage anywhere in 2026.

One Voice, Two Sonic Directions
cephalo is a four-piece band whose music draws on shoegaze, dream pop, and alternative rock, built from dense guitar textures, full-band dynamics, and memorable melodic hooks.
iVy is a two-person project made up of fuki and pupu, blending bedroom pop, electronic, shoegaze, poetry reading, and Y2K visual art into a performance style that brings personal diary entries, internet-era memories, and dream imagery onto the stage.
Organizers describe the concept behind this show as "one voice, two worlds" — on one side, the physical tension of a four-piece band; on the other, the inward-expanding, intimate universe of a two-person act — both connected by the same vocalist.
