One voice, two different bands
cephalo is a four-piece built around shoegaze, dream pop and alternative rock, working with layered, dense guitar textures, full-band dynamics and melodic hooks.
iVy is a two-person project of fuki and pupu, blending bedroom pop, electronic, shoegaze, spoken-word poetry and Y2K visual aesthetics. The promoter describes iVy's live performance as closer to staging a private diary — internet memory and dream fragments — directly in front of an audience.
Same vocalist, two distinct approaches to songwriting: on one side, a four-piece generating physical tension through full-band interplay; on the other, a duo building an ever-expanding, intimate sonic world. That contrast is the draw for this Taipei date.
