Castlevania 40th Anniversary Orchestral Concerts Announced for Tokyo, London and Los Angeles
Game publisher Konami announced a 40th anniversary project for its Castlevania series on September 24, headlined by three orchestral concerts titled "Castlevania 40th Anniversary: An Orchestral Concert." The shows are planned for early 2027 in Tokyo, London and Los Angeles. According to NME, exact dates, venues and ticketing details for all three concerts will be announced separately by Konami.
What was announced
The Castlevania series began in 1986 with the original Castlevania and Vampire Killer, and has since spawned numerous sequels, spin-offs and two Netflix adaptations. Konami has not yet detailed the format or programming of the concerts.

Streaming and vinyl releases
Alongside the concerts, Konami is bringing series soundtracks to streaming platforms and releasing select scores on vinyl. Two LPs have been confirmed as the first wave: the original Castlevania soundtrack and the score to 1997's Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Music from Castlevania Black & Red went live on streaming services on September 26. Konami has also launched discounts across the series and is offering a limited-time free download of the original Castlevania mobile app, alongside an anniversary video.
What the team is saying
On the anniversary website, the Castlevania development team wrote that the series has now reached its 40th year, and that the free access, discounts and commemorative video are meant to celebrate alongside longtime fans. The team added that "various things are planned going forward."
