The Calling Fest announced via its official Instagram on July 7, 2026 that the 2026 edition of the festival will not be held. The announcement also revealed that the festival's founding and curatorial core — Chen Chien-chi, Oliver (Oliver Ching), and Han Li-kang — will launch a brand-new festival project this year called VOICES (呼聲).

The Pause Announcement and What's Next for the Team

The statement was issued under the name of "the original Calling Fest curatorial and production team," thanking fans for their long-term support and noting that the three core members will continue their focus on the live Chinese-language original music scene through VOICES.
