Italy's Alien Sound Festival Cancelled After Main Stage Collapses in High Winds

Italian electronic music festival Alien Sound, planned for a two-day run in Naples on July 4–5, 2026, has been cancelled after its main stage collapsed during construction due to high winds.

What happened

The collapse occurred shortly before the festival's opening, when strong winds brought down the main stage structure while it was still being built. Organizers confirmed that no one was on the stage at the time, and there were no injuries.

The lineup was set to include Gordo, Don Rafaelo, and other artists. Organizers said the team tried everything possible to keep the event on track, but ultimately had no choice but to cancel this edition of the festival.
