Balming Tiger Lands Three UK Music Video Awards Nominations
South Korean alternative group Balming Tiger has picked up three nominations at the UK Music Video Awards 2026. All three come from their second studio album, Gongbu, and one of them — the video for "Oui" — is up against recent work from Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, and Olivia Rodrigo in its category. The ceremony takes place Wednesday, November 4, at the Roundhouse in London.

- Lee Suho (이수호) — shortlisted among six finalists for Best Director
In the Best Production Design category, "Oui" is competing alongside Ariana Grande's "hate that i made you love me," Taylor Swift's "Opalite," and Olivia Rodrigo's "The Cure."
Lee Suho's dual role
Lee Suho serves as Balming Tiger's music producer while also directing the group's music videos, and his Best Director nomination runs alongside the two video nominations themselves. Balming Tiger has built its identity on self-produced visuals and a consistent visual language since forming, and Gongbu continues that approach.
