Philly Duo "@" Set Debut Album Autosmile for Oct. 16 via 4AD

Philadelphia art-folk duo @ (pronounced "at"), made up of Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak, will release their debut album Autosmile on Friday, October 16, through UK label 4AD. Pitchfork has called the record one of the most anticipated fall 2026 releases. Ahead of the album, the pair has shared a new single, "I Know You Are (But What Am I Thinking)."

The lead single

The new track builds on a chamber-pop foundation, layering in medieval-style ornamentation, flickering keyboard textures and swaying cello lines — a continuation of the richly harmonized, imaginative songwriting style Rose and Filipczak are known for.

The single arrives with a companion music video directed by Los Angeles-based creative director Sage Caswell, shot entirely using thermal-imaging camera technology.
