Taiwanese Band Lily Chou-Chou Lied Release Concept Album 《致走到這裡的》
Taiwanese band Lily Chou-Chou Lied (莉莉周她說) have digitally released a new concept album, 致走到這裡的 (loosely, To Those Who Made It Here). The band announced the release on social media under the marker "06 / ARRIVAL," with the ten-track record opening on "窒 Window Ledge" and closing on "致 Bedside."
The concept
The band's announcement text opens with the line "that night-facing square window, the image inside is always dark-toned," describing a process of learning gentleness within a sharp, unforgiving world, and of treasuring moments of stable rest amid the marks left by pain. The text also references eyes that have "adapted to the dark" learning to find themselves and the people around them again.
The band describes the whole album as a long stretch of scenery, addressed to both those still on the road and those who have already stopped to rest, closing with the line "to you / me / him who made it here" — echoing the album's title.
