ADE Lab On Track Opens Applications for Producers and Performing Artists

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has opened applications for a new development program called ADE Lab On Track, aimed at emerging producers and performers. The program splits into two paths — a Producer Track and a Performing Artist Track — and accepted applicants commit to a full three-day program at ADE Lab Village in Westerpark, Amsterdam. The announcement was made via ADE's official Instagram.

Two tracks, one commitment

Applicants must choose a track when they apply: the Producer Track is geared toward production work, while the Performing Artist Track focuses on live performance. ADE is positioning this as an "in-depth academy" program — the defining requirement is commitment, not just curiosity. Selected participants are expected to attend all three days rather than drop in for individual sessions.

The program includes knowledge-sharing, hands-on workshops, and networking, run in small, hand-picked cohorts so that the same group of participants learns and creates together across all three days.

Where this fits into ADE Lab

ADE Lab Village is ADE's hands-on hub at Westerpark, centered on technical, production, and performance tools during the festival. On Track shifts what was previously a more open, drop-in format into a structured program with fixed cohorts and limited spots.
