British band Wolf Alice played the biggest headline show of their career on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Finsbury Park in London, backed by a support lineup that included The Last Dinner Party, Lykke Li, Rachel Chinouriri, Keo, and Florence Road. The night's encore peak was a cover of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," with clips spreading quickly on social media afterward.

The gig closed out the touring cycle behind The Clearing, the band's Mercury Prize-nominated, BRIT-nominated album. Frontwoman Ellie Rowsell led the band through the tour debut of "White Leather" and worked in three songs from an upcoming digital 7-inch B-side series, including "Gospel Oak," a nod to the North London neighborhood near the venue.

The show was the finale of a three-night Finsbury Park weekend series. Friday, July 3 was headlined by Biffy Clyro with support from Nothing But Thieves, Don Broco, Marmozets, and Wavves. The Clearing turns one in August. The album gave Wolf Alice their second UK No. 1 and made them the first band in Mercury Prize history to have all four of their albums nominated. Earlier this year the band also played SNL UK and closed out the 2026 Teenage Cancer Trust concert series at Royal Albert Hall.

According to NME, Wolf Alice will later this year join Olivia Rodrigo's "Unraveled Tour" as a special guest for its first North American leg, alongside The Last Dinner Party, Devon Again, Die Spitz, and Grace Ives.
