2026 Wind of September Festival Confirmed for Hsinchu, September 18–20

Taiwan's Wind of September Festival (九降風音樂節) in Hsinchu has confirmed its 2026 dates. The event runs across three days: a battle-of-the-bands competition on September 18 (Friday) at Wind Live House, followed by outdoor main-stage performances on September 19–20 (Saturday–Sunday) at the Confucius Temple Plaza (孔廟前廣場) in Hsinchu City. Background
The festival takes its name from Hsinchu's autumn seasonal wind, known locally as "jiu jiang feng" (九降風), and has long used the Confucius Temple Plaza as its main stage, blending the city's cultural landscape with outdoor performance. The Wind God Awards original music competition (風神榜原創音樂大賽) is a companion event that offers a platform for local and independent bands.
