Turnstile Take Over Baltimore: All Five Members Throw First Pitches at Orioles Night

Hardcore band Turnstile were the guests of honor at a dedicated theme night hosted by the Baltimore Orioles on Friday, July 10, 2026. All five members took turns throwing ceremonial first pitches and teamed up with the team's mascot performer "Mr Splash," spraying water at the crowd every time the Orioles got a hit. The Orioles went on to beat the Kansas City Royals 5-3 that night.

What happened at the ballpark

The team released a limited-edition commemorative jersey for the night, reading "Orioles" on the front and "Turnstile" on the back. Beyond the first pitches, the ballpark ran a series of band-related activities throughout the game. According to NME, Turnstile's presence seemed to bring the team good luck.

Next stop: UK dates at All Points East and The Piece Hall

Turnstile will soon cross the Atlantic for an exclusive headline show at The Piece Hall in Halifax, UK, followed by a support slot at London's All Points East festival, topped by Tyler, the Creator.

Other acts on the bill include Rex Orange County, Clipse, Sexyy Red, Ravyn Lenae, Vince Staples, Daniel Caesar, Baby Keem, Dijon, Ghostface Killah, Syd, Faye Webster, Danny Brown, and Jim Legxacy.

Earlier this year, Turnstile also played Coachella 2026, where they addressed onstage the legal case involving former guitarist Brady Ebert, who left the band in 2022. Ebert was later arrested on charges including attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault, stemming from an incident in which he allegedly struck singer Yates' father, William, with a car. The band confirmed William suffered "serious physical trauma" and underwent surgery as a result.
