Mystery Billboards for System of a Down Spotted Across Los Angeles
Mystery billboards linked to System of a Down have turned up at multiple spots around Los Angeles, according to metal outlet Revolver. The sightings were reported via an Instagram post captioned "System of a Down are up to something," with no explanation of what the billboards actually say.
Where the billboards were spotted
- Off the 101 freeway
- Near the Capitol building
- Downtown Los Angeles
- Off Pico
The four locations cluster around central LA and major commuter routes — the kind of outdoor placement labels and promoters typically use to tease an album or tour before an official announcement.
What we know so far
The only public source on this right now is Revolver's Instagram post, which shows photos of the billboards themselves. There's no accompanying press release or statement from the band, so this remains unconfirmed on System of a Down's end.
What hasn't been announced
No album, tour, single, or show has been confirmed by the band. The content of the billboards hasn't been revealed, and there's no date for when more information might surface.
System of a Down formed in Los Angeles in the mid-1990s and in recent years has mostly played occasional large-venue shows and festival dates. Anyone curious about what's next should watch the band's and Revolver's official accounts for updates.
