Sonic Shaman Festival Links Taipei and Lucerne for a 24+6-Hour Telematic Marathon

Sonic Shaman, an international music art festival, will take over Taipei's RS289 venue on November 14-15, 2026, with a live telematic link to Neubad in Lucerne, Switzerland — some 9,500 kilometers away. The event runs 24+6 hours nonstop across the two sites, featuring more than 30 musicians, dancers and performance artists from Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Switzerland and Europe. Early-bird tickets are now on sale in limited quantity at thecube.tw.
What was announced
The festival uses telematic technology to let performers in Taipei and Lucerne play together in real time despite the distance. The program is split into several sessions across the weekend — a Saturday session, a Sunday overnight session, a Sunday coffee rave, and a Sunday afternoon session — each with its own Taipei lineup and Swiss telematic counterpart. The organizers note that entry is managed by time slot: once a session ends, re-entry requires a valid slot ticket or a door ticket for the current session. Those wishing to experience the full 24+6 hours, or to come and go multiple times, are advised to get the Full Pass. Early-bird tickets are limited and sold on a first-come basis.
