Thai Band Soft Pine Announces Japan Tour, Teaming Up with KIKI in Osaka and LAUSBUB in Tokyo
Bangkok-based psych-rock band Soft Pine is heading to Japan for a short tour starting Sunday, July 19, 2026. The run includes a stop at Tsukuba Rock Festival, followed by shows in Osaka and Tokyo. In Osaka, they'll share the bill with fellow Thai act KIKI; in Tokyo, they'll play alongside Japanese band LAUSBUB. The tour is organized by Big Romantic Records.
Vinyl Release of "Life on a Rocket"
Timed with the tour, Soft Pine's fifth album Life on a Rocket is now available on vinyl — a cream yellow 12-inch pressing (catalog number BRRCD-157) — through Big Romantic Records' online store, priced at 4,600 yen (tax included).
According to the organizers, the album is built on minimalist beats, repeating guitar riffs, and a hazy, floating tone that adds up to a highly addictive groove, marking it as one of the standout releases in Thailand's independent music scene.
