SNL Season 52 Music Lineup: KATSEYE Opens, Rosalía and Turnstile to Follow
Saturday Night Live returns for Season 52 on September 26 (Saturday), and NBC has announced hosts and musical guests for the first four episodes at once: KATSEYE, Turnstile, Rosalía and Gracie Abrams. Across the Atlantic, SNL UK returns for its second season on September 12 (Saturday), with CMAT, Royal Blood and Rachel Chinouriri lined up as musical guests. The lineups were reported by NME.
SNL Season 52: first four episodes
- September 26 (Saturday): host Jalen Brunson (NBA Finals MVP, New York Knicks) / musical guest KATSEYE
- October 3 (Saturday): host Dakota Johnson (third time hosting) / musical guest Turnstile
- October 10 (Saturday): host Shane Gillis (third time hosting) / musical guest Rosalía
- October 31 (Saturday, Halloween special): host Inde Navarrette (star of Obsession, first time hosting) / musical guest Gracie Abrams
This will be KATSEYE's first appearance on SNL, coming right after the release of their new EP Wild. Since members Manon and Sophia are currently on hiatus, it hasn't been clarified whether the group will perform as the remaining four — Lara, Megan, Daniela and Yoonchae. Turnstile, the Baltimore hardcore band, will also make their SNL debut in the second episode. Rosalía is set for her third SNL appearance, having previously joined Bad Bunny for a cameo in 2021 and performed as musical guest in 2022. Gracie Abrams, who first appeared on the show in 2024, will be making her second appearance. The show will take a two-week break after the third episode before returning with the Halloween special.

Brighton duo Royal Blood will release their new album Dead Company in November; Rachel Chinouriri recently announced her new album I Think I Spoke Too Soon.
SNL UK's musical guests so far
SNL UK premiered on Sky One this past March, with its first episode hosted by former SNL cast member Tina Fey and Wet Leg as musical guest. Hosts since then have included Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed and Nicola Coughlan, with musical guests Kasabian, Foo Fighters and MEEK.
The show has been generally well received since launch, though some sketches have drawn controversy. Cast member Ania Magliano was criticized earlier this year for a bit comparing Mark Zuckerberg to Hitler; she responded that the tech billionaire is "fair game" and said she feels "pretty detached" from criticism online. Sky has confirmed the show will return in 2027, with all 11 original cast members returning.
