Seoul Record Fair Reveals 15th Edition Key Art, Morning Entry Now Reservation-Only

Seoul Record Fair (서울레코드페어), South Korea's largest physical record market, has unveiled the key visual for its 15th edition. The two-day fair returns to the same venue as last year, PUBG 성수 near Ttukseom Station in Seoul's Seongdong District. Organizers are requiring advance reservations for morning entry this year, a response to the overnight queuing that has become common at past editions.
Why reservations now
Organizers explained that PUBG 성수 sits between restaurants and a residential neighborhood, and that limited-edition and first-release pressings tend to draw crowds willing to camp out overnight. Beyond the limited and debut pressings, individually produced releases and exclusive merchandise from participating vendors are also cited as major draws contributing to the crowding.
The stated reasons for the reservation system include preventing overnight queues, reducing complaints from residents and on-site congestion, maintaining safety around the venue, and managing overall attendance. Reservations opened last week and are being accepted through Thursday, October 28, though slots may fill before that date. As of the announcement, both days' 11am morning sessions were still open for registration.
