Malaysian rock drummer Raja Azreen Raja Talib collapsed while performing and later died, at age 56. The incident happened on July 18 at Malaysia's Teruntum Rock Festival, just two songs into a set by his band Meditasi. US outlet Consequence reported the news on August 24.

What happened

According to Consequence's report, Meditasi had only played two songs of their Teruntum Rock Festival set when frontman Bakaruddin Daud, who performs under the name Burn, noticed Raja Azreen slumped forward over his drum kit.

The performance was stopped. Raja Azreen later died, at age 56.
