Radiohead Confirm 2027 Return to Japan; BTS Tour Tops Both Pollstar Charts

Radiohead have confirmed a 2027 tour of Japan, following hints dropped during their Summer Sonic appearance in August, according to Pollstar's Daily Pulse newsletter sent Tuesday, September 8, 2026. The same report says the band will also mount their first Australian tour in 15 years. Elsewhere in the same charting period, BTS debuted at No. 1 on both Pollstar's LIVE75 and Global Concert Pulse charts on the strength of stadium grosses from their Arirang World Tour.

Radiohead's 2027 Asia-Pacific run

Radiohead's Japan dates are set for 2027, with Tokyo among the confirmed stops. The Australian leg marks the band's first return to that country since 2012 — a 15-year gap. Exact dates and on-sale details for individual stops have not yet been announced; fans are directed to the band's official channels for updates.

The band's Summer Sonic set this year is being read as a lead-in to this touring cycle. Pollstar's report, published September 7, was the first to lay out both the Australian and Japanese legs together.

BTS's Arirang World Tour numbers

BTS's Arirang World Tour opened with three shows at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, running April 9 to April 12, 2026. After the opening run, the tour continued with stadium dates across Asia, Europe and North America.

Pollstar attributes the double No. 1 debut to the cumulative stadium grosses reported this week — the first time BTS has topped both charts simultaneously. The same Daily Pulse edition also covered The Neighbourhood's return to global arenas, new Stevie Wonder dates, and the first look at a new stadium in Philadelphia.
